Highlights

More than 180 EAST facilitators joined together in Rogers, Ark., to get “Amp’d Up” for the 2024-25 school year! EAST Seminar 2024 provided three days of educational breakout sessions, fun networking activities, and connections with valuable community partners.

Matt dozier east legacy award

In 2021, the EAST Board of Directors created the Matt Dozier EAST Legacy Award to honor EAST President and CEO Matt Dozier’s 20 years of service to the organization and to recognize an outstanding facilitator each year at EAST Seminar.

This year, Erin Rappold of Vilonia High School received the award. Erin has served as a facilitator for 12 years. She is a leader who has served as a mentor for other facilitators, and who has created strong connections between her program and her local community.

Breakout Sessions

Forty-three educational Breakout Sessions were offered to facilitators, covering topics ranging from how to use different types of technology to classroom management techniques.
